Geography deals with the spatial distribution and attributes of phenomena on the earth’s surface. To make students appreciate the nature, structure, distribution and management needs of natural resources and the impact of these on human activities and problems. To equip students with suitable analytical and technical skills required for tackling problems of spatial planning and development and management of environment resources. To enable students to specialize in areas relevant to national development particularly, planning and environmental studies. To stimulate an awareness for imbibing skills for environmental conservation, restoration and sustainability.
